A Little about me
Joyce was born in Tallahassee where her roots for the community have grown since day one. A mother of two daughters and a grandmother of four. Joyce knows how time passes quickly and the importance of grabbing the memories of every day.
Joyce fell in love with photography during her middle school years and her passion and skill have only grown with the passing years. Her work has been published in Tallahassee Woman and Tallahassee Magazine as well as displayed in many private galleries. She has a firm belief in giving back to the community and has volunteered her time and skills as a photographer in several charitable events such as A Chocolate Affair and Convent Hospice. It brings Joyce much happiness in offering that lifetime photo for a family that may not have that lifetime opportunity. A quote from Diane Arbus “I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them” really touches the purpose and reason Joyce became a photographer. Taking an instant out of time and capturing a moment in life is her goal.
